The Pangasinan State University hosted another benchmarking activity with Ifugao State Universityโs Department of Registrar and Admission Services held at the University Board Room, PSU Main Campus, Lingayen, Pangasinan, June 9.
The meeting of minds was attended and warmly welcomed by Dr. Randy Joy M. Ventayen, Campus Executive Director of PSU-Lingayen together with Ms. Beverly Fernandez, Coordinator, Admission and Guidance Services, Mrs. Helen B. Mabanta, University Registar and Ms. Venus May H. Sarmiento, OIC Public Relations, Publication and Information Office Director as they expressed their thanks of gratitude and appreciation to the IFSU delegates for visiting PSU.
The IFSU delegation was headed by the Director of Deparment of Admission and Registrar Services, Jocelyn A. Guimpatan. Along with her were Dr. Renie N. Chang-a, Registrar II – Lamut Campus, Julie Ann P. Hernandez, Registrar III – Lagawe Campus, Mr. Kenneth B. Ancheta, Registrar II – Potia Campus together with the staffs of Lamut Campus, Potia Campus and Aguinaldo namely Femy C. Lomboy, Cely Ann M. Sonico, Daisy E. Lunag, Rieza Mitz P. Ngipol, Moses B. Gawang, Rashel N. Valdez, Victoria B. Changwayan, and Kevin Klaus O. Castro.
Said benchmarking activity involved presentation and sharing of best practices of the different units, focusing on online admission, student retention and assessment, and archiving and wellness activities such as reducing stress and collaboration.
The event ended with an open forum, sharing questions and ideas about improving their respective institutions.
Thus, the Pangasinan State University community will always be open to showing support for the success of other institutions by advocating interactive learning and sharing best management processes.
