The Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division Office (SDO)-1 Pangasinan held its Athletic Meet last March 4-5, 2023. The event was a resounding success, and it was made possible with the support of Pangasinan State University (PSU). Dr. Dolce Tolosa, on behalf of the Schools Division Superintendent, expressed her gratitude to the university for its unwavering support to the division.
The athletic meet is an essential event that brings together students from various schools in the division to compete in different sporting events. This event is a great opportunity for students to showcase their skills and talents, foster sportsmanship, and build camaraderie among their peers.
However, organizing such an event requires a lot of resources and support from various stakeholders. PSU stepped up to the plate and provided the necessary support to ensure the success of the event. The campus hosted futsal and football events on the covered court and soccer field, respectively.
Dr. Tolosa’s visit to the office of the Campus Executive Director to express her gratitude to the university was a heartfelt gesture. It showed how much the support meant to the division and how much it was appreciated.
The success of the athletic meet was a testament to the strong partnership between DepEd SDO-1 Pangasinan and PSU. The collaboration between the two organizations ensured that the students had a memorable and enjoyable experience during the event.
