The 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain), serves as a structured approach to workplace organization. It emphasizes the importance of creating a clean, clutter-free environment that enhances operational efficiency and supports a positive work atmosphere. By applying these principles, the certified offices have demonstrated their dedication to fostering a well-organized and productive workspace.
The successful implementation of these standards was spearheaded by Mrs. Nancy P. Mirador, Coordinator, Energy Efficiency/Solid Waste Management/PCO, whose diligent monitoring played a crucial role in achieving compliance. The leadership of Campus Executive Director Dr. Renato E. Salcedo was instrumental in driving the initiative forward, reinforcing PSU Lingayen’s ongoing commitment to excellence in education and service.
The QWS 5S Compliance certification is a significant achievement that reflects the university’s dedication to creating and maintaining an efficient and aesthetically pleasing work environment. This recognition not only underscores the exceptional standards upheld by these offices but also sets a benchmark for continued improvement and excellence across the campus.
