The Pangasinan State University has been progressing towards being the Regionโs Premier University of Choice for the past six (6) years and counting. This has been possible through the strong leadership of its University President, Dr. Dexter R. Buted. This style of governance of the University President has inspired many people within and outside the university.
One notable person who has commendable professionalism and superior dedication not only in Instruction but also in Research and Extension is Dr. Potenciano D. Conte Jr., who was inspired to be a role model among the Instructors and Professors in the PSU Lingayen Campus and the university. As a witness, Dr. Conte was awarded as the Most Outstanding Educator in Instruction last November 10, 2017, during the Universityโs 38th Anniversary Celebration with the theme โKredibilidad at Integridad tungo sa Kagalingang Global ng ASEAN.โ In 2019, he was awarded the Best in Research and was recognized during the 40th Founding Anniversary of PSU held last December 9, 2019.
Dr. Conte has contributed innovative instructional and research solutions that have had a significant impact on the educational system and community development. As a result, he has become a role model for others to follow.
