The Gender and Development Unit, the Nutrition and Dietetics Department and the Teacher Education Specialization Courses Department lead the Livelihood Training Project 1 for 4Ps Beneficiaries at the Covered Court, Libsong East, Lingayen, Pangasinan held on February 10, 2022 from eight o’clock in the morning until five o’clock in the afternoon.
The 4Ps Beneficiaries from Domalandan Center served as the participants to the livelihood training.
The following are the competent speakers and trainers on the said activity. Ms. Geraldine M. Niñeza, a Nutritionist-Dietitian, Mr. Aldrin S. Pangasinan, a Business Owner of Medium Scale Mushroom Production, Ms. Arlene A. de Guzman, a Technology and Livelihood Education Mentor and Mr. Rexian Noah V. Zareno, a Hilot Wellness Trainer are the resource persons for the whole day activity.
Ms. Niñeza provided important tips for the preservation of food while Mr. Pangasinan discussed the details of mushroom production.
Ms. De Guzman demonstrated the proper hair and nail care and Mr. Zareno illustrated the application of different hilot massage techniques.
The said event was very productive since the participants gain much insights, tips, and even techniques in the different areas introduced in the said GAD Training.
