Enter “Seiton Week,” a weekly initiative dedicated to fostering a pristine and orderly campus. This initiative is a cornerstone of PSU Lingayen’s mission to provide a conducive learning environment, aiming to enhance campus aesthetics, promote health and safety, boost productivity, and instill a sense of responsibility among its students, faculty, and staff.
The objectives of this initiative are; to transform the campus into an inviting space that fosters pride and belonging, ensure a clean, hygienic environment to minimize illness and accidents, provide an organized workspace to enhance focus and academic performance, and encourage everyone to take ownership of their surroundings.’
During the Seiton Week, a series of activities designed to promote cleanliness and orderliness across the campus. These activities include the thorough cleaning and organization of all workspaces. Regular cleaning of hallways, restrooms, and libraries and emphasizing proper waste disposal and environmental sustainability.
Seiton Week has significantly improved campus aesthetics, health, and safety, while enhancing productivity and fostering a strong sense of community responsibility.
This activity is aligned with SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth: improves efficiency, reduces waste, and enhances productivity, and better working conditions, and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities: contributes to creating cleaner, safer, and more efficient environment.
