The Pangasinan State University Lingayen Campus is deeply committed to maintaining a clean and orderly academic environment, recognizing that a clean setting is essential for a productive learning environment. This commitment is actively demonstrated through both institutional policies and the dedicated efforts of the campus community. The foundation for this high standard is built upon systematic operational procedures that make cleanliness a mandatory, shared responsibility.

The implementation of these efforts is spearheaded by dedicated officials. Campus Executive Director Dr. Marie Claire B. Briones actively champions the campus-wide effort to maintain a clean and beautiful environment. Additionally, Ms. Nancy Mirador, the Campus Coordinator for Waste Management, Energy Efficiency, and Pollution Control, frequently leads campus clean-up operations, demonstrating direct action and setting a tangible example.

These initiatives are supported by three core policies that are strictly enforced to govern daily conduct and environmental practices.
The 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗚𝗢 (𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗚𝗼): This essential rule enforces personal accountability by requiring everyone to clean up their own messes immediately after use.

The 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗜𝗻—𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗢𝘂𝘁: This policy extends the responsibility by emphasizing that any waste generated in shared spaces must be properly disposed of or removed, ensuring areas remain spotless.

And, 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: In line with broader institutional goals and local ordinances, the campus promotes a plastic minimization approach, focusing on the reduction of single-use plastics to minimize environmental impact and foster responsible consumption (SDG 12).

Through this combination of strong leadership, clear policies, and mandatory participation, PSU Lingayen Campus successfully fosters a clean, healthy, and environmentally conscious academic community.
