Pangasinan State University under College of Education conducted 3 days Webinar Series on May 18 -21, 2021 about Solid Waste Management to the barangay officials, health workers, parents and young individuals in Barangay Capandanan Lingayen Pangasinan.
College of Education Programs, BTVED, BTTE, BSED English, BSED Filipino and Social Studies shared and extended their expertise through giving awareness about waste management.
On day one Ms. Maricris M. Sison facilitated the training about the fundamentals of solid waste management.
On May 19 BTVTED and BTTE Faculty, students and student officers shared their knowledge and skills about waste recycling. The 3rd day of the training program, participants learned about solid waste management discussed by BSED English and BSED Filipino.
On the fourth day of the training BSED Social Studies program gave their final lectures about legal awareness by the local government and Republic Act. on waste management. According to the ratings given by the participants, they were highly satisfied with the training.
Waste management is a simple act but it has a huge impact on saving and maintain our living planet
